Our Introduction to Embroidery course is a great way to explore this wonderful art
for complete beginners.
You will learn about appropriate fabrics, how to transfer your design and frame up your piece ready for sewing.
Learn a range of basic stitches which will give you a good foundation for most techniques and allow you to create pieces on your own.
Discover the difference between the many types of embroidery thread available and their application.
Upon completion of this course you will have the necessary skills to attempt projects on your own.
Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance or achievement.

All materials necessary to start and complete a small project which you get to keep.
Refreshments: Tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits.
You will be able to borrow ring frames, neck magnifiers and scissors on the day.
Basic skills required
No previous skill is required but you will need fairly good eye sight (or your glasses) and be able to hold a sewing needle.
Cancellation / Refund
Cancellations must be made more than 7 days in advance. We will refund the course fee less a £25 deposit.
In some cases, where we are able to give your place to somebody else at short notice, we will also refund your deposit less a £5 administration charge but we cannot guarantee that this can be achieved.
We reserve the right to cancel a course. Should this unlikely event be necessary, we will refund all fees or offer an alternative date if suitable.
