Our Introduction to Embroidery course in June proved a great success.
After the morning rain ceased and the mists cleared from the Lake District mountains, the sun came out giving us some stunning views.
As usual, the Hundith Hill Hotel staff served up a lovely cream tea for morning break with home made

warm scones.
Attendees said they thoroughly enjoyed the course with “just the right mix of theory and practical” and found the section on thread and fabric selection particularly useful.
Needle and thread was kept busy in the afternoon learning and perfecting new stitches.
All too soon 4.00pm arrived, so armed with their new skills, heads alight with ideas and bags filled with embroidery goodies, everybody went on their way.
Some took the opportunity to make a weekend of it by visiting the popular Woolfest event.
It is always good to meet new people wishing to learn or enhance their embroidery skills and it is wonderful to have such positive feedback afterwards.
There are still a few spaces left on our Introduction to Goldwork embroidery course on Friday 22nd July.
